What was the highlight of Silken Saaj Las Palmas
Very Good
The reception staff was not helpful not kind never smiled and welcome . We stayed twiced at the hotel as we liked the room and the place but the day of our departure i had an infection and asked polite to stay i little longer in the room because i was feeling bad . they show no worry no kindness they called me exactly at 12 to simply say we need the room now you cannot stay longer and they didnt even ask if i need something a doctor or anything as i was standing at the reception . thanks god got a taxi at the street and when i went to the airport hours earlier for my flight i found a doctor she helped me and gave me medicin and managed to fly back home. I asked for the hotel manager to complain about the behavour of the reception staff but they told me the manager was not there this week so i decided to write here my review so they improve the service and must of be a better person and help their clients more as they are in a foreign country .

What was the highlight of Silken Saaj Las Palmas
Good stay but unfortunately breakfast disappointing
The Hotel room was fabulous and the balcony was great. Location to centre of town was brilliant as we could walk to everywhere we needed to go. The rooftop bar and restaurant were fabulous. Food was good and the ambience was too.
The breakfast! I really wish I could give this more positive feedback, but... the hot food was really cold! It was cooked OK, but the hotplates/heat lamps didn't do their job. We tried on the first morning to eat eggs and bacon, etc., but couldn't. The churros were hard and cold too. Basically the food that was supposed to be hot was very cold. The variety was good but not worthy of the money. It was disappointing as we had to go elsewhere for breakfast on the 2nd and 3rd morning. First day was Sunday, so we ate there a little later at 10.30am, food was cold. Second morning we gave it another go as it was Monday and we were a little earlier at 9.15am, we bought the food would not have been lying out as long. Nope, it was cold, so we had a coffee and some cold food and went elsewhere. The staff were lovely though.

Lovely staff
The reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. All of them spoke really good English. Breakfast was good but very busy.
It was difficult to get coffee in the morning as there was only one drink station. The view of the port was a bit obscured with the outside plastic decor but when looking for the hotel it was easy to spot from a distance.

Good for short stay, when you spend most of the time outside and only sleep in the hotel
Very dark room had only lift hall view window.
